The Sports Medicine Class has been learning how to properly fit patients with various assistive devices and teach them how to ambulate safely with each type of assistive device. A Big Thank You to Gabe Snow, Physical Therapist at the Choctaw Regional Medical Center, for coming to complete the work-based learning (WBL) checkoff experience. The WBL checkoffs allow each student to demonstrate a specific set of healthcare skills that they studied/practiced in the classroom to an industry professional for assessment of skill proficiency.
