Mrs. Lindsey's and Mrs. Marina's students at Ackerman Elementary School had fun doing Super Bowl activities! Students voted on who would win, made cheerleaders and football players, wrote about their teams, found sight words, and more!! What a fun day!! #teamAES

Today 4th graders at Ackerman Elementary School along with their family members enjoyed making Valentine's Day Cards for residents at the nursing home. They also enjoyed refreshments for their parental involvement day! Thank you to everyone who attended!! #teamAES

Today, students at Ackerman Elementary School received cash prizes for scoring perfect on their ELA and Math state test from last school year! Some students even received two prizes for scoring perfect on both tests. Congratulations students!! #teamAES

Ackerman Elementary School has spent the week celebrating Mrs. Ali Brasher for school counselors week!! We are so lucky to have Mrs. Ali at our school. She devotes so much to others, and she is a total rockstar!! We hope you had an amazing week Mrs. Ali! #teamAES

Health Science Core students have been learning about the human circulatory system this week. Today, students were studying and drawing the anatomy of the heart.

Mrs. Emily's and Mrs. Ashley's students at Ackerman Elementary School had a fun activity with mystery bags. They used adjectives to describe what was inside each bag. The bags contained pom poms, Play-Doh, streamers, a toy dinosaur, and a Coca-Cola. #teamAES

Mrs. Woodward's and Mrs. Hunt's students at Ackerman Elementary School are having fun doing I Spy with telling time! #teamAES

Mrs. Halford and Ms. White have their 2nd graders at Ackerman Elementary School having fun while leaning about measurement. Students worked together to estimate and measure the length the cars were pushed! How fun! #teamAES

Weir Elementary School 3rd and 4th graders worked together to complete a reading comprehension scoot this week. #WeirExcellenceShines

Practice on Thursday, 2/9/23, for the Choctaw County Youth Basketball League has been cancelled due to CCHS playoff game. There will still be a game on Saturday, 2/11/23.

FCE students participated in a coloring contest sponsored by Mississippi Farm Bureau. They enjoyed coloring a picture that highlighted Mississippi Agriculture. Also, Mississippi Farm Bureau donated a book to the FCE library. Thank you for your support of our school.
