Kindergarten students at Ackerman Elementary School had a great time celebrating the 100th Day of School!





Mrs. Erwin’s class at Ackerman Elementary School had a great time cooking, dancing, and doing fun activities for the 100th Day of School.




Pre-K students in Mrs. Zirlott and Mrs. Fondren’s class at Ackerman Elementary School had fun putting 100 stickers on their hats, counting 100 snacks, playing with 100 cups, and paint dotting 100.



First graders at Ackerman Elementary School had a great time on Tuesday celebrating the 100th day of school!




Ryan Wilmotts, Olivia Alashti, Ethan Sanders, Jake Wilson, and Ava Talley participated in the LEGO EV3 Minstorm robotic competition in Jackson Saturday. Carson King was unable to attend the event.
They had to build and program a robot for the completion to do different missions, present and discuss their robot with judges, do a short tram exercise and present how they did the CORE model, and present a presentation on an innovative solution they have for the community.





Mrs. Burdine and Mrs. O’Briant’s Kindergarten students at Ackerman Elementary School visited the PBIS store to spend their Charger Bucks.


Mrs. Emily Tuck and Ms. Ashley Logan’s Kindergarten students at Ackerman Elementary School are working hard in their centers and learning lots of new skills.





5th grade students at Ackerman Elementary School were rewarded for being on Honor Roll for the 1st semester with lunch from Bumpers.




Mrs. Turnipseed and Mrs. K. Tuck have their 1st grade students at Ackerman Elementary School working on their journals and independent work.





Mrs. Lucas has her 6th graders at Ackerman Elementary School on point during their groups. They’re doing an awesome job!





Mrs. Busby and Mrs. Cagle’s class at Ackerman Elementary School had a lesson on kindness. After reading the book Each Kindness, students shared an act of kindness and dropped stones in a container of water to see how kindness creates ripples that spread to others.



Mrs. Gammill’s 3rd graders at Ackerman Elementary School are doing a great job working independently and with their teacher.




Ackerman Elementary School’s Librarian, Ms. White, is working with students during library time on parts of a book, author’s purpose, types of books, and much more!


Mrs. Miller’s 5th graders at Ackerman Elementary School are doing a great job on their independent centers and working with the teacher!





Mrs. Busby and Mrs. Cagle’s class at Ackerman Elementary School are doing an excellent job in their centers. These kindergarten students are learning so much!
