Our SkillsUSA students are competing this week in the SkillsUSA State Competition. This week has been great for our students.





Congratulations to Laila Woods! Laila is a Sports Medicine student who was recognized on the Mississippi Athletic Trainers' Association Facebook page and will receive $250 to go towards the International Conference that will be held in Nashville, TN this summer.

Dr. Nola Bryant and Mr. Patrick Thomas completed the Basic Course for New Board Members at MSBA.

CCCTC hosted their Annual Career Fair today for CCHS seniors. A special thank you to all the businesses, industries, military branches, local law enforcement, emergency medical team, and Choctaw County Partnership for attending and supporting our seniors.




CCCTC HOSA students are competing this week at the HOSA State Competition. HOSA Advisors are Mr. Bill Johnson and Mrs. Kristen Hunt. Best of luck to all of our students!

Mrs. Fondren's Culinary Arts Year I students enjoyed a day visiting Whole Foods in Jackson and HCC Preview Day.

Second year Culinary Arts students practiced their garnishing techniques with Twinkies. Students used a variety of sauces and plating techniques to elevate the plain Twinkie.





Strawberries can be picked up on Thursday, March 6, at 10:30 am through 5:30 pm.


CCCTC students enjoyed the Neshoba County Career Expo today. Thank you to Dana McLain, CTE/Workforce Development Coordinator for inviting our students. It was a great day!



Due to the possibility of severe weather tomorrow evening, Choctaw County School District will be dismissed early Mar. 4th to ensure vehicles have delivered all students and are off the roadways. Choctaw Co. High School students will be dismissed at 1:20.

Marcy McGlothin (CTE School Counselor), Tonya Johnson (CCHS Career Coach), and Karen Miller (Teacher & School Counselor Intern), attended the Leveling Up Conference at MSU on Thursday. A great day for learning all about AI and preparing students for college and the workforce.
