The Sports Medicine students completed their cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certification training. The students did a great job with their skills check offs.




Health Science students were completing skill check-offs for donning and doffing for their personal protective equipment (PPE). PPE is commonly used in health care facilities to reduce the spread of infectious organisms and/or diseases.

This afternoon we had a few issues with our Chromebooks and internet accessibility. We are preparing the devices to safely work away from campus and ran into some unexpected problems in doing so. If your device is still unable to connect to any websites, the device policy needs to be updated. Choctaw County School Board members enjoyed delicious treats from Mrs. Fondren's Culinary Arts students while participating in the MS School Board’s Association Virtual Policy Conference.

Students in culinary arts year 1 practiced working safely with the convection ovens by baking homemade peanut butter cookies. They also learned about proper measurement and portioning.

Culinary arts year 2 prepared egg breakfast dishes including Quiche Lorraine, Cheese and Sausage Frittata, and classic Eggs Benedict. They learned a variety of egg preparation methods including frying, scrambling, poaching, and making diner-style and French-style omelets.

Mr. Johnson's Sports Medicine students were learning how to properly donn and doff personal protective equipment (PPE) today. PPE is commonly used in a variety of health care settings for infection control purposes.




Mr. Johnson's Sports Medicine students completing checkoffs for proper hand washing technique. Proper hand washing technique is a basic requirement in any health care occupation. Hand washing is the single most important method used to practice aseptic technique.
