Ag Power and Machinery students had WBL checkoffs for tractor driving, tractor maintenance, and machine safety. A special thank you to Mr. Cole Odom for coming to assist in checkoffs.

A special thank you to Cheryl McIntire, with Mississippi Lignite Mining Company, for presenting a donation to the CCCTC Student HOSA Organization. Nine exceptional HOSA students from CCCTC will compete at HOSA ILC in Houston, TX in June. We appreciate all your support!


4-County did an awesome presentation for our seniors and CCCTC classes about the electrical sector careers and demonstrated hot line electricity.


Mr. Loggins' eighth grade students visited Mississippi State University and toured the Poultry Science Department. They were able to tour the building and participate in a lab where they observed the different stages of embryo development in eggs.


A special thank you to Choctaw County Partnership and Amanda McBride for providing lunch for Mr. Loggins' 8th grade students in appreciation for their part in picking up sticks and cleaning up around Choctaw Lake before the Choctaw County Kids' Fishing Rodeo held in April.


Mr. Black's Construction and Carpentry classes have been working on a special project. They built two child-sized picnic tables that are 4x24 in size. They are selling each one for $100. If you are interested in buying one, please contact us at 662-285-4152.

Healthcare and Clinical Services students went to CRMC and learned about Respiratory Therapy by department head Samantha McCool.

Kyndal Metts and Jacob Wilson welded a guitar made out of pipe. It was something they saw online that was made out of wood and decided to create the similar object made out of pipe using MIG welding, measuring tools, and a grinder to build and shape the guitar.

HOSA students have been preparing to compete in a variety of healthcare competitions at the HOSA State Conference this week. Pictured is Brooklyn Foddrill who will be compete in Sports Medicine and Alysa Helms will compete in the Nursing Assistant division.



Healthcare and Clinical Services students Azaria McGee and Hunter Braswell will be competing in the HOSA competition this week. Azaria will participate in Medical Assisting and Hunter will compete in the Extemporaneous Writing. Good luck to the both of them!
